Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprentice

After going to university, Emily wanted to develop some specialist knowledge in this area, and getting work experience at the same time seemed the perfect way to do that.

Emily said:” The best thing about my apprenticeship is the variety of projects I’m involved in. The work Nexus does goes right across Tyne and Wear and covers every area of public transport. This means I’m constantly learning about different areas of the business, with a great balance of practical experience and learning.

“As well as contributing to a wide range of Nexus projects and initiatives and learning new things all the time, my confidence and communication skills have also improved. I would recommend apprenticeships to anyone.”
