Tender opportunities
Our tender process
As a public service provider, we need to be sure we’re getting the best possible value from the goods and services we buy to meet our objectives. Our Procurement Team is responsible for appointing suppliers, and for ensuring that our processes are fair, open, and transparent.

How to apply
We advertise all of our tendering opportunities on the open market, on the Open online portal.
If you’re interested in doing business with us you can register on Open free of charge. Registered suppliers can set up their accounts to receive notifications of appropriate opportunities in their category. Got a question or need some help? Fill in a contact form.
If the value of business opportunity is greater than the procurement thresholds in the Procurement Act 2023, an advert will also be placed on Find a Tender Service (FTS).

Give your business the best chance: Tips for suppliers
Read the Invitation to Tender (ITT) thoroughly to make sure you understand the work requested. Ask for clarification if there’s anything you’re unsure about.
If questions are asked as part of the tender, make sure your answers are specific. Don’t just provide general information or marketing material.
Get a head start by assembling commonly requested documents and policies in advance. Many contracting authorities have similar requirements for supporting documentation, such as current policies and accreditations.
Make sure you include all relevant supporting documentation requested in the tender documents, and that your bid is compliant.
Allow enough time to submit your bid through the electronic tender system in line with the instructions. We can’t accept late submissions.
